Momma Dot is a freelance writer born in Michigan. She has since lived in Louisiana and now resides in Washington State with her husband of eight years.
In 2006, Momma Dot first became a parent to a rescue dog named Shep, this was quickly followed by two cats, Kitty, and Narky. Two more dogs, Dayna, and Brandi joined the family after a couple of years. All equally energetic and unique in their way. Very recently Momma Dot became a mom again to twins.
These new additions, along with her involvement in Mommy and Me, a literary and play date group, renewed Momma Dots’ interest in writing children stories. This stay at home mom first started writing at age seven and never looked back.
For her first published book, Suzy’s Smile, Momma Dot introduces a delightful character named Suzy the Shark. The story was inspired by the writer’s experience with braces that she first got at the age of twenty and even wore on her wedding day.
Momma Dot’s other hobbies include painting, watching movies, cross stitching, and very recently after the birth of her twins, naps.
